AI tools are fun

We're missing something in the conversation about AI and design tools: they're fun.

Not in a trivial way, in a creative way. The kind of fun that comes from having an idea and actually being able to make it. I've used AI tools to generate coloring sheets for my nieces, spun up a decent looking certificate as a Christmas present in Canva in ten minutes, and generated photos of all my loved ones as muppets.

That shit is fun.
